Why use an epicyclic gear train in this screwdriver?

First of all, because of the space that this gear train occupy is great for the design.

Second, from the calculations above we can observe that the overall gear ratio is 81:1 which means by definition of gear ratio that the output torque will be 81 times bigger than the input torque, which is great because with a bigger torque the screwdriver will screw easily.
